In period 17-18. May 2012, on the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, Bucharest- Romania, was held 12th International Symposium titled “Prospects of agriculture and rural areas in the context of durable development”. The symposium was attended the participants from Romania, Serbia, Spain, Austria, Slovakia, Moldova and Bulgaria. The Institute of Agricultural Economics, one of the co-organizators, represented by M.Sc. Vukovic Predrag, research assistant and graduate engineer Jovanovic Marijana, research traine. The Symposium has been subdivided into three sessions, in which the following themes has agriculture and rural areas in the context of durable development, management and financial analysis, the policies of the rural development, rural tourism and rural legislation.
