On 22nd of June 2011, starting from 12 PM, in Martinci village - Mimoza Restaurant, was held a promotional event of the project TECH.FOOD - Solutions and interventions for technological transfer and the innovation of the agro-food sector in South East Europe regions, organized by the Institute of Agricultural Economics from Belgrade.

During the period 16-17 June 2011, Coordination & Steering Committee meeting was organized in Vienna (venue of the meeting was Austrian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management) by Austrian partner at the Project (AWI - Vienna). Mentioned event was attended by all partners from the Project consortium. The Institute of Agricultural Economics – Belgrade was presented by Ms. Bojana Bekic, Mr. Velibor Potrebic and Mr. Marko Jelocnik. 

Research team of the Institute of agricultural economics Belgrade was organized, as part of their regular activities on the project Solutions and interventions for the technological transfer and the innovation of the agro-food sector in South East regions - TECH.FOOD, a Transnational Focus Group TFG, under the theme title Food safety in meat industry. Event was held at the 27th May, 2011, in the Hotel Palace in Belgrade, Serbia.

Within international project “Solutions and interventions for the technological transfer and the innovation of agro-food sector in South East regions” on 25 February 2011 in the Club of international press center in Belgrade there was a training for representatives of meat processing industry in Serbia. Besides them, other participants at the training were project Manager Prof. Drago Cvijanović PhD, external expert Jovanka Ninković as well as researchers engaged in the Project. The topics of this training were “Risk management in today's business environment - an innovative economy” and “Consulting as a form of learning and development model of managerial skills” and they were presented by researchers of the Institute of Agricultural Economics M.Sc. Radojica Sarić and M.A. Vesna Paraušić.

The main objective of the training was to educate domestic producers, as much as possible, about the potential and benefits arising from the introduction of innovations into production and to introduce them with the possibility of establishing relationships with manufacturers from countries participating in the Project.

In period from 12 to 14 January 2011, Vladana Hamović PhD and Bojana Bekić, from the Institute of agricultural economics Belgrade, and Bojan Vilaret, from the firm „Gombit“ ltd., were in Athens for the purpose of attending the meetings related to transnational Project called TECH.FOOD.

Within the Tech Food project – „Solutions and interventions for technological transfer and innovations of food sector in regions of South-East Europe“, the Institute of Agricultural Economics was organized a presentation of Study I, on 25th November 2010, in Serbian Press Association in Belgrade, Knez Mihailova 6 Street.

Aiming to conduct the project Tech Food – „Solutions and interventions for technological transfer and innovations of food sector in Southeast Europe regions“, organized by the Institute of Agricultural Economics, on 28th October 2010, in Belgrade, in International Press Centre were held: focus group and technical working group of local stakeholders, and working group of consumers from meat-processing industry of Serbia. There were present 10 representatives of this industry, then the representatives of Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Ministry of Mining Industry and Energetics of Republic of Serbia and Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, Cooperative Association and Association of Agricultural-food Producers.

Vadana Hamovic PhD - project coordinator and assistant director of the Institute of Agricultural Economics, Bojana Bekic - assistant coordinator and researcher associate, Jovanka Ninkovic - external expert at the Project and Velibor Potrebic - researcher associate, as representatives of the Institute of Agricultural Economics, which is IPA partner at the Project TECH.FOOD, participated at the project meeting held in Bucharest 27nd and 28th of Aprile. The Meeting was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Romania and Buharest Academy of Economic Studies.

In the scope of international project “Solutions and interventions for the technological transfer and the innovation of agro-food sector in South East regions” on 12.04.2010 in the Club of international press center in Belgrade there was a training for representatives of meat processing industry in Serbia.
Besides them, other participants at the training were project coordinator Prof. Drago Cvijanović PhD, project coordinator Vladana Hamović PhD, external experts Nada Kosanović PhD and Jovanka Ninković as well as researchers engaged in the Project. This training is the first one from totally six training events planned by the project activities.
