On January 31st 2013 was presented the “Strategy of sustainable rural development of TM Obrenovac for the period 2012-2022” in the gallery of Sports-cultural centre. The strategy was adopted on December 4th 2012 at the Assembly of the TM Obrenovac. The strategy represents a result of eighteen-months-lasting research work of the team from the Institute of Agricultural Economics, which was engaged by the Public Company for the Environment Protection and Improvement at the territory of the TM Obrenovac. In a process of the strategic document creation was applied a participative approach in which have took part all relevant actors from the territory of the TM Obrenovac.

The strategy is complex strategic and developmental document in which has been represented, on 229 textual pages, organized in two parts, a vision of further sustainable rural development of Obrenovac.

The first phase of the project „Studying an impact of the preparation „Aquastatin“ on physical, water, chemical and biological characteristics of land in terms of

lettuce (Lactuca sativa) production in cloches”

After several-months-lasting intensive work by the research team of the Institute of Agricultural Economics from Belgrade, and in a direct cooperation with the official representatives of the local community and representatives of some economic entities from the LC Jasenovo territory, by surveying many individual farmers – development-oriented husbandries, along with higher rank strategic documents estimation (of the Republic of Serbia, AP Vojvodina, South Banat district and the municipality of Bela Crkva), legal and other provisions, existing plans, projects and visions in the LC Jasenovo, acceptable suggestions and proposals of the Partner Forum members, Coordination Team members, Working Group members (in the following fields: Economic development; Environment protection and Social development), available statistical data and use of available up-to-date literature, was created a monograph „Strategic planning of sustainable agricultural and rural development of the local communities – model LC Jasenovo“.

 

The monograph publication was entirely funded by the Competitive Grants Scheme (CGS) within the STAR project, and which has been conducted under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia.

Veliko Selo – Belgrade: Special project of professional-educational and consulting services aiming to raise a common knowledge, in application of new technologies in growing vegetables in protected area, as well as an introduction of intensive and progressive vegetable production, by practical training for vegetable growing in protected area.

For the scientific paper “Studies on the strategic planning of the municipalities Glogonj, Jasenovo and Zablace” (79th International Fair of Agriculture – Novi Sad, 12-18th May 2012) After several-months-lasting intensive work of the Institute of Agricultural Economics' research team, and in direct cooperation with the official representatives of the local communities and representatives of individual economic entities from the territory of Glogonj, Jasenovo and Zablace Local Municipalities, by surveying many individual farmers – development-oriented husbandries, along with the higher rank strategic documents estimation (of the Republic of Serbia, Central Serbia, AP Vojvodina, South-Banat and Morava district, the city of Pancevo, the municipality Bela Crkva and the city of Cacak), legal and other provisions, existing plans, projects and visions in the local municipalities (LC Glogonj, LC Jasenovo and LC Zablace), acceptable suggestions and proposals of the Partner Forum members, Coordination Team members, Working Group members (in the fields of: Economic Development; Environment Protection and Social Development), available statistical data and use of available up-to-data literature, were created the Strategies of Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development for three selected (suggested) local rural communities, with the defined state in the field of agriculture (SWOT stencil), strategic goals and priority investment projects, in terms of the defined goals realization.
