Attending to International Scientific Meeting “Competitiveness of agricultural economics and rural development in conditions of world economic crisis”, which was held in Bucharest 25-26.09.2009. .

The Institute's delegation, constituted of Prof. Drago Cvijanovic, PhD (Director, Principal Research Fellow) and Jonel Subic, PhD (Assistant Director for Economic Issues, Research Associate), was invited to attend to the International Scientific Meeting in Bucharest – Romania. Besides organizers, the Faculty for Agricultural Economics, Food and Environment Protection, the University of Economic Sciences in Bucharest, one of co-organizers was also our Institute. Accordingly, numerous researchers were authors of the papers presented and published in Proceedings.
During their stay in Bucharest, the representatives of the Institute of Agricultural Economics have took their chance to meet primarily their hosts, Prof. Victor Manole, PhD, the Dean of Faculty of Agricultural economics – Food and Environment Protection, University of economic Sciences from Bucharest and his colleagues, than Prof. Nicolae Istudor, PhD (Vice-rector of the University of Economic Sciences from Bucharest, as well as representatives of the Institute of Agricultural Economics from Bucharest (Prof. Filon Toderoju, Assistant Director for Science and Prof. Joan Davidovici, Principal Research Fellow). They were all talked about possibilities for existing cooperation improvement and creation of pre-conditions for bilateral projects between Serbia and Romania.
